Hi all! I am moving out of DC and would like for someone to take over my portion of the lease here ASAP. Aiming to catch the eye of anyone trying to move in April, but the rent is already paid up for March so you can move in as soon as the application has been completed and the lease is signed.
-This is for a private room on the second floor with its own balcony and a small closet, furnished at no cost with desk, bed/sheets/pillows, clothes rack and dresser (furniture can be removed if preferred)
location: Located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood near Capitol Hill. D24 bus line stops on the corners of the block, with a 20 minute walk or so from Union Station / Eastern Market metro. Walking distance to Lincoln and Stanton Park, as well as H Street. Street parking is available via zone 6 residential permit. We’re also across the street from a smaller corner store.
-Washer/dryer in the hallway nearby
-Shared bathroom on second floor
-Kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, stovetop and TONS of storage space on first floor
-half bath on first floor + TV with all streaming services loaded.
Terms: $1,110 monthly rent + utilities $100-150 (wifi included), on a lease running through the end of October 2026 (which would turn into month-to-month beyond that).
Roommates: You will be living with two men in their late 20’s who are friendly, neat and respectful. One works in agricultural policy and the other is a grad student who also works for a due diligence company. Preference to a longer-term renter in their mid to late 20’s.
Please message me with any interest / questions. Thank you!
