Looking for a female housemate for our furnished one bedroom (can be unfurnished) in a three bedroom house. Access to fully stocked kitchen and shared common areas, including large backyard. Room has lots of natural light and hard wood floors. Washer and dryer available. Plenty of free street parking. This is a residential neighborhood; sharing the space with the host of the house - a working female and her friendly indoor cats (they stay out of the other bedrooms). Along with an another working female housemate. The convenience of the house excels with the fact that it is less than an 5 minute drive from the bustling heart of downtown Redwood City, including an array of fantastic restaurants, bars, parks, entertainment, and excellent shopping, including a weekend farmer's market. Also, less than 2 miles away and just a few blocks from downtown include the Main Library, Whole Foods Market, and the Redwood City Caltrain station which provides rail service along the San Francisco Peninsula, traveling as far south as Gilroy. Redwood City is centrally located between San Jose and San Francisco, making it a main transfer during Caltrain's commuter "bullet" service. The house is also just an easy commute to Highway 101 and I-280.
Take a trip out to AT&T park, visit the gorgeous campus of Stanford University (7 miles away), take a drive out to Half Moon Bay (less than 30 mins), or venture down south to San Pedro's Market Square - all are accessible during your stay.
Six month or long term rent is OK. Can also be flexible with arrival and departures dates (w/in a few days) if necessary. This is a great opportunity for students who need a home during the school year, individuals or anyone relocating and wanting to be local to find the "right" place.
