1 Bedroom plus Home Office at Dolores Park

Seeking a considerate and easygoing male or female to reside in our second-floor flat from December 9th to February 17th. The dates are somewhat flexible, accommodating the right person.

The bedroom is approximately 130 square feet, featuring a custom-built-in closet. The closet and headboard are finished with reclaimed oak, and the room has sunny, south-facing bay windows. It is fully furnished.

Included in the rental is a sunny office space with a triple south-facing bay window. It is equipped with a large custom-built desk on casters, a printer/scanner/copier, and a chalkboard wall for note-taking and idea visualization. A large monitor may be available upon request.

There is space for a bike in the basement, available for your use. Rent is $1,800 per month, plus $150 for utilities, including internet, gas, electricity, and common household items. A security deposit of $1,800 is required.

The flat is situated half a block from Dolores Park and features mostly hardwood floors. The kitchen features custom reclaimed wood shelving and a handbuilt microcement kitchen island on casters. There is a separate living room/dining area. The house is fully furnished. A clothes washer is available, and we utilize the energy-saving smart dryer (clothesline) or a nearby laundromat.
The backyard includes a flower garden and a productive lemon tree.

We hope your presence will contribute to our home’s relaxed and respectful, no-drama vibe. Maintaining a tidy environment is of utmost importance to us. While we are busy with our lives and work, we do not isolate ourselves. Basically, we'd like to maintain a light, good-humored atmosphere where one’s independence is valued, while also sharing an occasional drink or meal.

You will reside with one male roommate who works in the building industry. He enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling. My roommate will be relocating in the spring, at which point you may be able to move into his room for an extended period if you are seeking a longer-term stay.
As a female project manager for a small architecture firm, I primarily work from home. I enjoy building furniture, cooking, and traveling. I will be the one traveling for two months, and you will use my office and bedroom.
