Beautiful LIC Studio Sublet in Luxury Building

Ad ref# 101697790

Hi all!

We are subletting our studio apartment in the new Jackson Park development in LIC. We have loved this spot (my partner and I have lived here for 2 years) and are sad to be leaving, but have accepted job offers in Los Angeles and will be heading west this spring. The apartment is available for sublet from March 1st, 2020 through June 30th, 2020, with the option to renew with the building thereafter.

I?ve included lots of details about the apartment, building, and neighborhood below, but feel free to reach out with additional questions!

If interested, please reach out via text or email to set up a showing! Thanks!

THE APARTMENT

Our apartment is a spacious, modern studio with (in my opinion) the perfect layout. The floor plan is included as an image, but to summarize the practical aspects, there is good separation between the kitchen and living spaces, a walk-in closet, and an inlet that perfectly fits a queen or full bed.

The apartment features 9-foot ceilings, white oak flooring, grey cabinetry, white marble countertops, and north-facing floor-to-ceiling windows that provide natural light. The bathroom has sleek dark grey tile flooring, an extra large vanity, and a shower/tub.

If you?ve lived in NYC for long, you know how coveted these are, so get excited because this place has both a dishwasher and an in-unit washer/dryer! There is also central air and state-of-the-art appliances. There is a key card entry system, which keeps things extra secure.

The building was built only 2 years ago and we were the first tenants in this unit, so everything is in great shape. Maintenance is also super responsive if anything goes awry.

THE BUILDING

Jackson Park consists of 3 glass towers (we are in JP 1), which surround a beautiful 1.6 acre private park. The park features a great lawn, dog park, children?s play area, bocce court, ping pong court, BBQ?s, picnic areas, and sun chairs.

Each of the buildings includes its own gorgeous rooftop lounge with unique views and amenities; as a resident, you have access to all rooftops. All lounges include indoor spaces with couches, TVs, audio systems, entertaining kitchens, dining tables, bar seating, and panoramic views, plus outdoor spaces with comfortable seating, audio system, and of course cityscapes to die for! Two lounges include lovely children?s play rooms as well. Additionally, the 1JP/2JP lobby features a tv/game room and a fireside library room, plus study nooks scattered throughout the buildings.

The Club at Jackson Park is the building?s private five-story, 45,000 square-foot gym and amenity collective. The Club offers an indoor/outdoor fireside lounge, hanging chair garden, demo kitchen, private dining room/board room (great spot if you work from home), gaming/media rooms, golf simulator, state-of-the-art fitness center with 21 group fitness classes per week, a 75? indoor lap pool, massage treatment rooms, steam and sauna room, full-size basketball court, squash court, and a rooftop pool and hot tub with cabanas and a wet bar. Truly, the Club beats any Equinox in the city and adds on incredible entertaining/recreational spaces.

We all know city living and studio apartments can be hard, but having access to these makes you feel like a millionaire!

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The apartment is located in an extremely accessible part of LIC, with 7 subway lines within a few minutes walk. The M, E, and R are all right outside the building?s front door, while the 7, N, W, and G are each 5 min or less away. There are City Bike racks a short distance away, plus we are only about a mile from the NYC Ferry stops. I don?t take the bus often, so I may miss naming a few routes, but I do know that Q102 (Astoria to Roosevelt Island), Q101 (Astoria-Steinway to Midtown), Q100 (through Astoria to Rikers Island), B52 (to DUMBO), and more are all right outside.

The area immediately around is home to a number of great restaurants (Saps Sushi, Levante, Indie LIC, M. Wells Steakhouse, Dutch Kills Cocktail Bar, to name a few). There is an excellent grocery store, Foodcellar Market, a 5 min walk away and a Key Food about a 10 min walk. There is a wonderful coffee shop, Sweet Leaf, right downstairs, plus a Honey nail salon for the ladies. A Murray?s Cheese store and Canine Retreat by ACK are both also opening in the building. The Jacx, a new office development directly across the street, will also feature a food hall, restaurant, and gourmet market, each of which are expected to open in the spring.

There are a number of small parks nearby, though the gems of LIC are of course the Gantry Plaza and Hunters Point South state parks, which are just 1 mile away. These parks offer the most stunning views of the city and have awesome community activities all year round!

We have lived in LIC for 3 years and can say with confidence that is an ideal neighborhood! The vibe is wonderful, it continues to develop with new businesses, and it is truly the most accessible neighborhood in the city.

OTHER DETAILS

To sublet, you will have to qualify with the building (short screening process, primarily credit and income check). A deposit of one month?s rent is due upon move-in. You will also have option to renew the lease, starting July 1st, 2020.

In addition to the sublet, we are also willing to include all or some of our furniture, should you want to avoid the challenges of moving in this city. We a queen bed frame with a Casper mattress, two IKEA malm 6-drawer dressers (they fit perfectly along the west wall and double as the entertainment center), a custom breakfast bar with high-back bar stools, and a desk.
