This apartment is in eyesight of the R/M Steinway stop. It is on the 3rd floor of a walk up, 3 unit building. The landlords are an elderly Greek couple who live below us. They have a zero tolerance for noise but are friendly and around all the time. They receive the mail daily and manage the building/trash. The apartment is fully furnished, expect the room for rent. You can see the Steinway St R/M stop from this room? does it get any better than that?!? It? s a 10 min walk to the N/W. It? s 3 stops to 59th and lex (10 minutes). On one corner is a Rite Aid, on the other corner is a grocery store, on the 3rd corner is best damn Halal food you? ll ever have. It? s one block from a movie theater, Museum of Moving Image, restaurants and one ave away from the best bagels/beers/other grub you can find in Astoria.
About the room 8x11. There is a closet in the room and you will have access to a closet directly across from the room. The room faces 34th ave. The noise has not been a bother for the current roommate or the roommates before. One Roommate once had an expanded queen bed in the room with no issues for that, a dresser, and room to walk around Room - $800 Utilities - ~$45/each estimated Cable - $30/each Internet - $33/each
What we are looking for: Long term only. Male or female, does not matter. The person must be a quiet, respectful, trustworthy. No loud music/movies after 9 pm.
