Roommate wanted for a 2 bed / 2 bath + den apartment in Jackson, NJ, starting September 1.

I’m looking to renew my current lease for another 12 months with an approved roommate. My current lease ends August 31, so the new roommate would need to complete the apartment complex’s application process, pay the application fee, be approved by management, and be added to the lease before moving in. This is not a sublet.

The apartment is a second-floor, approximately 1,200-square-foot unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a den. It has an in-unit washer and dryer, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, microwave, lots of cabinet/counter space, and an open living area. The common areas have wood-style flooring, and the private bedroom is carpeted, unfurnished, and approximately 11’8” x 10’ with closet space and natural light.

Rent would be $1,400/month, plus 50% of utilities and internet.

The den is my work-from-home office, and you must be cool living with cats.

I’m looking for a clean, respectful roommate with reliable income who is able to complete the leasing office’s approval process no later than beginning of July and move in by September 1.

A little about me: I’m 36, a working professional, and I do not smoke or drink. I am alcohol free, so I’m looking for a roommate who also does not drink or keeps it out of the home. No smoking or vaping inside the apartment. LGBTQ+ friendly.
