Seeking Mindful and communial aware roommate

We are seeking a mindful and communial aware roommate for our shared home in New brunswick, NJ. Ages 27-40. You get your own private room. The house location is a short walk or bike ride to the New Brunswick Train station which is on the North East Corridor line and can take you right into Philly or New York Penn. There is also a beautiful large park across the street with basketball, outdoor gym, tennis, pickleball, soccer, and long bike paths nearby. Our neighbors are are all very nice older adults.

We are open to either gender and keep all areas of the house very clean. It's expected that roommates do their fair share like vacuuming, mopping, toilet cleaning, etc while we live together. Dishes must be done by the next day. In the summer, we take turns mowing the lawn and when it snows in the winter, we all help shovel the sidewalk and driveway. Quiet time is after 10pm except Friday and Saturday for socializing.

Regardless of any rules or expectations, it is non-negotiable to be respectful and mindful to others. Perhaps one day, you are feeling tired and do not want to mow the lawn when it is your turn. This is no big deal but we do expect you to make up for it. We like to be reasonable and understanding with each other. This is a house of open and free thought. We live together and want to make sure we all feel comfortable and happy.

Side note: The owner is an amazing cook so communial meals are encouraged. If you desire better cooking skills, you can be his sous chef and learn with him. If you know how to cook yourself, he'll be happy to learn from you too!
