Roommate wanted:
The apartment is on the main floor in a 5-floor pre-war apartment condo building and has a full kitchen, bathroom and living room. Also, we have a digital card operated laundry room in the basement and the Apartment is a 15 minute walk/5-8 min bus ride or bike ride to the Path train at Journal Square. Also close to all bus lines on both adjacent blocks (Kennedy Blvd/Bergen Ave.) Commute to Manhattan is generally only 24-40 minutes depending on the time of day.

About me:
I am a 36 gay man that has been a medical professional for over 10years and recently decided to make a change in my life and will be going back to school in the fall.

What I'm looking for:
Looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, and dependable.
A new friend and a roommate would be great but also appreciate private/reserved people. I do appreciate open, honest, and respectful communication. I am a not neat freak but keeping the apartment clean is important, especially the common areas we can even discuss a weekly maid service if you prefer.

The Details:
The rent is $950/month not including utilities an air conditioner and ceiling fan are inc.. The security deposit is $950.00. The apartment is furnished. The rental bedroom will be unfurnished but if you need shelving/TV or even a bed I am sure I can accommodate. The bedroom is 15.5 ft by 11.5 ft with a 9.5 ft ceiling and 2 windows. The room fits a queen-sized bed, 2 full-size dressers, 3 bookshelves, a sitting chair and has a well fixtured full closet.

I am happy to answer any questions regarding space. The room is available August 15 th, 2021 (or earlier with notice) and the lease is for 3 months to 1 year, though I am hoping for someone more long-term. The move-in date is negotiable. Inquire directly, please. Thanks!
