I have lived in this apartment for four years and loved it. I love how it faces into the courtyard and not the street, and how we have trees outside the window and can hear the birds in the morning. It has two large closets in the bedroom, and coat closet next to the front door. The building is very clean, and there are laundry rooms and trash rooms in every floor, making it very convenient. During rush hour in the morning and evening, the 126 bus to Port Authority stops directly in front of the building and it’s an 9 min walk to the PATH Station. If you have a car, the building has a garage in the basement where you can rent a spot for $250 a month. They also have bicycle parking in the garage.
There are heating/cooling units in each room, so you can control the temperature. Gas is included in the rent. So, the utilities remain relatively low - $25 pp/month for the internet and the electric costs vary per month depending on the weather (this winter was very cold), so it could range from $50 pp to $100 pp.
I am moving in with fiancé in Brooklyn, so there is a bedroom available in our 2 bed/2 bath apartment. My roommate Maria will be staying on the lease and I can vouch for her that she is kind, hardworking, clean, and likes to explore the city in the weekends. Below is a post that wrote up.
