Hi! My roommate is moving out at the end of our lease so I am looking for a female roommate (mid to late 20s) to renew our 2 bed / 1 bath apartment in Downtown Jersey City! It would be a 12-month lease starting December 1st, 2026.

- Rent $3,295/month, would be split evenly as rooms are identical
- Utilities range ~$70-180 depending on season

- Security deposit $2,246.50 each

- ~10 minute walk to both Grove and Exchange Place PATH stations

Room info:
- Very spacious room, easily fits queen bed, desk, and dresser
- 2 large closets, one with shelving and other with hanging rack
- Gets a lot of sunlight, south facing windows
- *Room stays pretty warm year round*
- Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment

About me:
I’m Paige, 29 years old, and work for the state. I work from home 2 days a week (Mon/Fri) and in-office the rest of the week. During the week, I go to the gym, like to cook, and unwind watching tv. On weekends, I love to go out, try new restaurants, see movies/plays/concerts, go to museums, and thrift.

Looking for:
I’m looking for someone who cleans up after themselves and is respectful of shared items and spaces. Someone who doesn’t fully work remote and has a similar schedule as me. Ideally would love to be friends with my roommate and occasionally hangout. I mesh best with people who are easy-going, communicative, and considerate.

The common space area will also be pretty empty once my roommate moves out, so you would be welcome to bring any furniture you may have.
