Private bedroom available in a spacious, clean and comfortable 2-bedroom, 1½-bath townhouse in Society Hill II, Jersey City. You would be sharing the townhouse with just one other person.

The bedroom is unfurnished, so you can furnish and personalize it however you'd like. The rest of the townhouse is fully furnished and move-in ready.

The home features a spacious living room with a gas fireplace, separate dining area, fully equipped kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, central air conditioning and heat, high-speed internet, plenty of storage, and a private balcony overlooking the community.

The full bathroom is upstairs and shared between the two roommates. There is also a separate half-bath on the main level.

Society Hill II is a quiet, beautifully maintained, tree-lined residential community with great amenities, including:

Rommmate will be responsbile for 1/2 of utilities and shared household expenses: electric, gas, water/sewer, high-speed internet, cable television, and common household supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, HVAC filters, and similar items. Open to spliting cost of groceries as well.

ABOUT THE HOUSEHOLD

I have a friendly, adorable, well-behaved 3-year-old Russian Blue cat, so you must genuinely like cats and be comfortable sharing the home with one.

This is a clean, quiet and respectful home. I'm looking for someone who values a peaceful, comfortable living environment, respects shared spaces, and cleans up after themselves without needing to be reminded.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 49-year-old self-employed attorney and work from home most days. I'm laid-back and easygoing and enjoy cooking, sports, movies and relaxing at home. I'm clean and organized but not looking for someone who feels like they have to walk on eggshells—just another responsible adult who takes reasonable care of the home and communicates openly.

Ideally, I'm looking for a mature, financially responsible working professional who pays bills on time and is interested in a stable, longer-term living arrangement.

Applicants should be prepared to provide proof of income/employment and a recent credit report as part of the screening process.

I'm more interested in finding someone who is a good fit than simply filling the room with the first available person.
