The available room is located in a clean, quiet, fully furnished two-bedroom, 1½-bath townhouse in the highly desirable Society Hill community of Jersey City. The bedroom itself is unfurnished, allowing you to furnish and personalize it however you'd like, while the remainder of the townhouse is fully furnished and move-in ready.

The home features a spacious living room with a gas fireplace, a separate dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, central air conditioning, high-speed internet, and plenty of storage. There is also a private balcony overlooking the community.

Society Hill II is a quiet, beautifully maintained, tree-lined community offering outstanding amenities, including a swimming pool, basketball court, tennis courts, playground, scenic river walk, and professionally landscaped grounds.

The location is extremely convenient and within walking distance of ACME, Target, Planet Fitness, Home Depot, Wonder Bagel, two pizzerias, Chinese takeout, a UPS Store, Walgreens, and numerous other neighborhood shops and restaurants. It also offers easy access to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, Routes 440 and 78, the NJ Turnpike, Liberty State Park, downtown Jersey City, and Manhattan.

The upstairs full bathroom is shared between the two roommates, and there is an additional half-bath on the main level for convenience.

Utilities are shared and come out to about $350/month per person: electric, gas, water, sewer, high-speed internet, cable television, and general household supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, HVAC filters, and similar items).

I also have a friendly, well-behaved 3-year-old Russian Blue cat (hypoallergenic), so applicants must genuinely like animals and be comfortable living with a cat.

This is a clean, quiet, respectful home where everyone is expected to clean up after themselves without having to be reminded. I'm looking for someone who values a peaceful, drama-free living environment and appreciates keeping a nice home.

About Me: I'm a 49-year-old self-employed attorney who works from home on most days. I'm laid-back and easygoing, enjoy cooking, watching sports, movies, and relaxing at home. I'm very clean and organized and am looking for someone with a similar lifestyle—someone who is mature, financially responsible, respectful of shared spaces, and communicates openly.

Applicants should be prepared to provide proof of income and a recent credit report. My goal is to find someone who will be a great long-term fit, not simply the first person available.
