2br+living room luxury apt (Urby) w pool, W/D, gym

ROOM: One private bedroom in a two bedroom apartment available for a year's list starting either from July 1 (or from Aug 1, some flexibility around dates) in Jersey City Urby. One (huge, nice) living room, Shared bathroom.

BUILDING/APT: Urby is a luxurious high rise building in Newport (across Hudson in New Jersey) and will be shared with me, an easy-going guy from Singapore who works remotely as a developer with some amount of travel. The building is very new and has all modern furnishings with W/D in unit, fridge, oven, etc. It is a 24x7 secured doorman building with a HUGE gym (paid), parking (paid), swimming pool and resident's lounge, with sweeping NYC views. Very pet friendly although I personally don't have pets. There are also community events like BBQ's, Wine classes, and TV Event viewings! To me one of the biggest selling points is the ground floor cafe which is basically a free coworking space with very fast internet and water/power points at every table. I LOVE working out of here, this is why I picked Urby and I hope you like it too.

COMMUTE: The building is a few minutes walk to the Newport PATH station, about 5 min train ride to Downtown Manhattan and about 15 min to Midtown Manhattan.

AREA: Path station, grocery stores, bars, restaurants, mall are within a few minutes walk from the building.

RENT: I haven't finalized the room yet. One room is on the 35th floor and will have better views of NYC and will cost $1875 each. The other is on the 15th floor and has less of a view but comes cheaper at $1750 each. Would be happy to discuss this with you.

Utilities such as electricity, internet and cable, cleaning are shared.

Looking for someone who doesn't smoke, doesn't bring the party home, treats it like their home, is respectful of common spaces (especially dishes and trash) and responsible.
