Furnished Room located in Newark, NJ

This Room will be furnished with a Full size bed and a 3 draw chest dresser. Shared Living spaces such as bathroom and kitchen and Laundry can be available based on a schedule, ( you will have your own cabinet space for your cookware and items.) Located on a pretty quiet block. Parking is fairly easy to find if you drive. Alternate side parking is on Monday and Tuesdays 8am-12pm. If you do not drive, we are close to the 1 and 31 bus. We are about a 30 min bus ride or 13 minute uber ride from the PATH train which is located downtown Newark and Rutgers College. We are about a 8min drive to South Orange, NJ and Seton Hall University.

Month to Month Agreement. 6 months stay until pending lease renewal. I have been here for 5 years and renewals are based on how much they raise the rent yearly.

Background check is required if you plan on renting. Income verification with recent paystubs.

If you have a partner or a child that will be staying with you, there will be an extra $250 added to the $800 rent making the total $1050 a month and utilties will be included.

I am laid back, I work full time from home. On my days off it is my time to relax so you may see me walking around the shared spaces to clean and you will hear music if I see everyone is gone or already awake. Im family oriented , I love to listen to Hip-hop, RNB and Caribbean music plus a variety of other genres. I usually listen to my playlist on shuffle lol. My favorite food is seafood. My idea of a good time would be good conversation, great food and probably a drink and a blunt. I am more of a introvert and I stay to myself for the most part ( im very cordial). And I also have a 2 year old Maltipoo named Chloe who can be wary of new people so she may be hiding at first but you will hear her. I am 31 years old.

My boyfriend also lives with me and he is 32 years old. We stay to ourselves and he works security and he’s a gamer.

Let’s be honest a lot of us are looking because rent for one person can be A LOT in this economy . So while we all work on our situations and try to better ourselves, why not save money in the process while protecting our peace in a home that suits you! I have an extra room that I am graciously willing to rent out in my beautiful apartment to a kind hearted, thoughtful and quiet soul. My maltipoo can be vocal with new people so expect a bark when coming through the door when she is not placed in her room, she stays to herself for the most part due to being scared. She does not get along with other pets
