Hi! We’re Akera and Joy, a couple currently living in a clean, cozy 3-bedroom apartment in New Jersey. We’re looking for a respectful, responsible roommate to rent our available private bedroom for the upcoming school year, approximately September through May/June. This would be especially ideal for a college student looking for a comfortable and affordable place to live during the school year.

We’re both easygoing, friendly, and value having a peaceful, clean, and drama-free home. Akera is an Early Childhood Education student, and Joy works full-time. We’re respectful of privacy, communicate well, and want everyone in the home to feel comfortable.

📍 Location:
The apartment is conveniently located near transportation and is approximately a 30-minute bus ride to NYC. It’s also close to American Dream Mall, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and everyday necessities, while still being in a peaceful area to come home to.

👩‍🎓 Ideal roommate:
We’re looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, respectful, communicates well, cleans up after themselves, and is comfortable living in a shared home. A student would be a great fit!
