Working professional/public servant seeking a working professional as a roommate in an oversized 3-bedroom Stuytown apartment, right outside of Gramercy Park (near East 20th Street and East River Park)

I have 1 room available, ready to move-in on April 15. The Bedroom is 9’x13’ with abundant closet space, asking $2,000/month.

All utilities including WiFi internet are included in the monthly rent.

The apartment is 3 bedrooms in total with a sizable common area. The kitchen includes a dishwasher. There is a laundry room conveniently located on ground floor of the building.

You will be free to use the kitchen and common areas as you please whenever someone else isn’t using them. All I ask is that you clean up after yourself and leave the sink, stove, countertops and table clean, clear and empty after each use.

The building is located in Stuytown, a serene, tree lined living complex; conveniently located on the east side of Manhattan, nestled between the East Village and Gramercy Park. The premises include an indoor and outdoor gym (for an additional monthly membership), a gourmet cafe, numerous outdoor sitting areas to soak up the sun, multiple pickle ball, volleyball, bocce and basketball courts, as well as around the clock security.

There is an L-Train stop directly outside the complex, with just a 2-3 minute train ride to Union Square; making for a short commute as well as quick and convenient access to all that NYC has to offer.

About Me

I am a working professional who works for the City of New York in a steady career I have had for the past 14 years. I have an 13-year old miniature beagle who lives in the apartment with me. Therefore, one absolute requirement I have is that you are ok living with a small dog in the apartment. If I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, working out, playing casual sports and trying out new restaurants and bars. I am seeking likeminded working professionals who are equally clean and reliable to share my space with.

Requirements

-Open to short-term lease. 3-month stay bare minimum

-One (1) month’s rent + one (1) month’s security deposit + a one (1) time $150 resident application fee up front (no broker fees)

-Last (2) two paystubs and most recent bank statement for income verification

-A printout of your credit report (will consider a rent guarantor or co-signer on a case-by-case basis for less than good credit or no credit)
