Available semi-furnished--has full size bed, desk/chair, dresser, standing lamp, TV table, and side table. All furniture can be removed except bed.

Room available in 2 bed, 1 bath apt. in Stuyvesant Town—on quiet side of a bldg. Shared kitchen, living room, and bathroom with one other tenant.

$1975 a month includes gas, electricity, new air conditioner (with remote) and aircon fee, and 5G internet. There is a security deposit required and I am looking for financially responsible applicants only. Short term lease ok—minimum 4 mos.

Available room is 10.5 x 12. One roommate fit in a lot of stuff including keyboard, desk, chair and queen bed. (See pictures—excuse the mess!). Large window faces east. New air conditioner and blackout window shade is included. Last photo is room with included bed and desk.

Large closet outside room. More shared storage in hallway linen closet. Limited kitchen storage available as I have the basics (pots, pans, baking dishes, rice cooker, blender, toaster, dishes, cutlery, glassware etc.).

Pantry space available. Kitchen is not vegan/vegetarian. No heavy cooking every day. I mainly reheat or have TraderJoes'. Yes, there is a dishwasher and microwave.

Washer/dryer in building, full-time public safety on call, free maintenance requests for anything in the apartment, and video doorman with code for letting guests/food delivery people up to door. Bike rack downstairs. 2 gyms (membership fee) on the property, plus free outdoor exercise area with elliptical and bike. Lots of paths for walking and running.

Looking for someone easy going, communicative, respectful and considerate of roommate’s belongings and space. Ideal roommate has a stable job, intership, or is at university/grad school and can provide proof of employment, or stipend and good credit score.

No smokers or couples.

I have a small hypoallergenic 23 pd dog. Non-shedding and very friendly. She loves people.

I work from home a few days a week (in my room).. I don’t bring guests home and am fairly quiet. Building has quiet hours, so I use headphones past 10 pm.

I am available for phone and video interviews, and will show apt on appointment. Last roommate was an NYU student who left after school year finished. Before that was a Dr. finishing her residency.
