Happy New Year Everyone! I have an upcoming opening in my apartment February 1st and am looking forward to kicking off the year with an awesome new roommate! The apartment is a spacious 1000 sq. ft 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment within the Palms area, just north of Culver City (located near Venice and Motor). It’s a street-facing first floor (but not street level) apartment with a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, outdoor patio, and even a balcony! Your room is a nicely sized, front facing (11’6” x 12’) bedroom, with an adjacent bathroom off the hallway. The common areas are fully furnished and the kitchen stocked with cooking necessities, so no worries if you only have furnishings for your bedroom. The apartment is located in a 10 unit building on a fairly quiet street, and features the added bonus of on-site laundry, subterranean gated parking (tandem spaces), and gated entry to the building. The location is ideal for a number of lifestyles – with easy access to the 10 and 405 freeways, a 15-minute walk to the Expo line station (offering access across town), and bus routes nearby. Even more exciting, we’re just around the corner from a number of restaurants, shops, the post office, UPS, and a 15 minute walk from the heart of downtown Culver City. Whether or not you have a car, there’s plenty of easily accessible places to enjoy!

A little bit about me - I’m a self-employed professional, working primarily in the music/entertainment field. My schedule can vary dramatically and my work is a mixture of commuting and remote. No worries if you commute or work from home. I’m vaccinated/boosted, and would prefer to live with someone else who’s also vaccinated. Outside of work, I’m a fan of fitness (currently rocking those home workouts – come join me!), cooking/baking, exploring the city, all things home fragrance, and decorating for the holidays. As a performer, I do practice at home (singing, piano) – although I’m mindful of my roommate and make sure to keep those rehearsals within normal hours of the day to minimize any disruption to you. In an ideal roommate, I’d like to find someone who I can get along with beyond just household cleaning and paying bills (as exciting and important as those two pastimes are) – someone to share the common areas with, grab a bite, or explore the town with. I do my very best to be respectful and communicate directly, to ensure everyone is happy in our home, and would like that in a roommate as well. I’m not picky on gender, but I am looking for a roommate who is a non-smoker and LGBTQ+ friendly. Unfortunately we can’t have any pets in the apartment, and I’m only looking for one person (i. e. no couples). And finally, I suppose it goes without saying, but someone who is respectful of each other’s things and spaces, as I am.

Rent is $1350.00 per month, and utilities (separate – electric, gas, internet) are split between us. Minimum 1-year lease, then month to month. If this sounds like a good fit, the landlord will require you to fill out an application, and if approved, will ask for 1st month + security (same as 1 month’s rent) upon signing.
