Second-largest bedroom in a newly renovated 4BD/3BA Victorian row home in Truxton Circle, steps from Shaw and Bloomingdale. The room comes with a queen bed, a dedicated workstation, and oversized east-facing windows that fill the space with morning light. Private en-suite bathroom included.
The house features brand-new hardwood floors throughout, an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer/dryer, and a private rear patio — great for hosting or just unwinding.
You'd be joining three grad students (30, 28, 30) who've lived together for two years. We keep the common spaces tidy, respect each other's schedules, and hang out when it makes sense. No drama, no strict house rules beyond the basics.
Who we're looking for: Someone responsible, respectful of shared spaces, and easy to communicate with. You don't have to be home all the time or be best friends with us — but it helps if you're the kind of person who picks up after themselves and gives a heads-up if something's off. We're particularly open to people coming to DC for an internship, fellowship, or summer program — the room works well as a furnished, move-in-ready base without a long-term commitment.
What to expect: A calm, functional, adult household. We're all busy with work or research during the week, so the house is generally quiet on weekdays. We have a group chat for coordination and try to sort things out directly if anything comes up. Utilities are split evenly.
