* This is a four-story, walk-up building; this apartment is on the fourth floor.
* Very friendly neighbors, many from around the world.
* Washers and dryers are in the basement (pay for use).
The Location
Very desirable neighborhood in the heart of DC! On a quiet, residential street that is mostly charming row houses. Beautiful trees line the street.
* Walk to Logan Circle (5 blocks), Chinatown (6 blocks), main city library (8 blocks), Convention Center (1-3 blocks), the National Mall with the monuments and Smithsonian and other museums (25 to 30 minute walk), White House (20 minute walk), multiple supermarkets (1 to 10 blocks), downtown office buildings (20 to 30 minutes).

The Details:

* Deposit of $1,300 due upon signing rental agreement; monthly rental fee due on move in date.
* Room is available on a monthly basis; 1 month minimum. Agreement will be month-to-month, with a 30 day notice required by either party. Final month will be prorated on a weekly basis.
* Cleaning duties will be shared

* I’m a professional woman, lead a quiet lifestyle, looking for the same in a potential tenant. I like to travel, at home I like to cook, take care of my plants, watch documentaries and on rare occasion have guests over. I work long hours so basically it’s a quiet household. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted
* I am respectful, tidy, responsible and looking for the same in a potential tenant. No drugs, or excessive drinking. Smoking cigarettes or is permitted as long as it’s confined to your room, as I do smoke (cigarettes only) which is confined to my room as well.
* Please note that the rental is for one individual, friends, family and partners welcome to stay overnight on a limited basis. Room rental is based on one person to reside in the apartment.
