Looking for a female roommate! Dec 1 Move In!

Hi! I’m looking for a female roommate, either open to a short-term/month-to month lease or sign on for a year long lease with a move in date of December 1. It’s a 2BR/2BATH apartment in Foggy Bottom. Your half of rent would be around $1660ish (depending on whether we sign for month-to-month or year-long lease), all utilities except WiFi included. And I believe there is a $50 application fee for a new tenant.

Your room would have a big closet and private bathroom inside the room. (The room to the left in the video posted) It’s a very spacious apartment (around 1250 sq foot) with a large living room and wide balcony. The living room and dining area will not be furnished as that is all my current roommate’s things so I am open to the new roommate bringing in their own living room furniture or us potentially splitting costs to furnish the living room ourselves.

Laundry is in the basement of the building and the unit has a dishwasher, oven, microwave and central AC/heating. The complex has a mail room for all incoming packages deliveries. The apartment complex has a gym, a grocery store, coffee shop, a Chinese restaurant, dry cleaners, and nail salon.

It is a 5-minute walk to the Foggy Bottom metro station, Whole Foods and a 10-minute walk to the Georgetown waterfront and Kennedy Center.

About me: I work full-time and I’m currently in grad-school part-time. I work hybrid, (mostly in office but WFH days when I’m sick or lazy). I’m very quiet and chill, clean and respectful of shared spaces, and would want someone similar. I don’t mind having the occasional friends over, but I’m not looking to live in a party apartment. For fun, I love exploring new cafes and bookstores in the DMV area or staying in to bake/cook and watch tv. I’m open to a roommate-turned-friend situation or just staying friendly/respectful roommates, whichever vibe works best.
