1-bedroom apartment, DuPont Circle

I am looking for someone to take over my lease or start a 12 month lease here, starting December 1st (flexible move-in date, before or later). Honestly sad to leave this apartment because of how cute it is and the location, but I hope one of you will enjoy it as much as I have!

Rent: $1,895 per month (water included) + utilities (gas and electricity, under $100 per month)

Option #1 - lease take over, December 1st - March 31st. Then you have the option to go month-to-month in April, or sign a new 12 month lease. Slight price increase if you go month-to-month or sign a new lease then.

Option #2 - starting December 1st sign your own 12 month lease, keeping the same rent.

Again start date is flexible!

About the apartment:
1-bedroom, 1-full bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The apartment is on the second floor. The bedroom is a good size (I hope that showed in the photos). In the living room I fit a dining table and a desk. The kitchen is narrow with not a lot of counter space, but I added another counter space that could stay in the unit if you would like. The bathroom is cozy, I put in a shelf unit that I am happy to leave as well. There are two closet spaces in the living room that are pretty big, I store everything in them. Laundry is in the basement. Everything in the apartment works great, I’ve never had a problem and the landlord I great too.

Location:
On the corner of 18th and S st. It is a 6 minute walk to DuPont Circle. Also 6 minute walk to the red line metro, 20 minute walk to the orange and silver. A 7 minute walk to Safeway. I don’t have a car and have found it is easy to get around. If you have a car, it is zone street parking and my friends have never had an issue finding a spot anytime of day.
