$1355 for private bedroom + den and shared bathroom + common areas; move-in during April 2026

About the House:
- 2 story detached house with basement
- 1 bed/1 bath in basement
- 2 bed/1 bath on the second floor (but there is an extra room [office/storage/etc.] that is included for you!)
- Front yard with porch and backyard with stone patio & garage; lots of garden beds too!
- Wood floors, plenty of windows & natural light, central AC & heat, washer and dryer (in basement), lots of houseplants!
- Common areas (living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom) currently furnished, but happy to discuss switching out or adding any furniture for your own
- Very friendly and responsive landlords
- Pets ok with landlord approval (well-behaved, doesn’t shed a lot, etc.)

About the Rooms:
- 11’ x 11’ bedroom with attached closet
- Your space ALSO includes a 9’ x 8’ spare room (to use as an office, storage, workout space, den, etc.), with attached closet too
- Both rooms on the second floor (bedroom has two windows facing east and south, spare room has window facing east)
- Your rooms come unfurnished
- Bathroom and hall closet shared with one roommate

Location:
- Quiet street in Brookland with awesome, friendly neighbors
- Unzoned parking pretty much always available in front of the house
- 10-12 min walk to the Brookland-CUA metro stop on the Red line
- C63 bus stop steps from the home
- Walking distance to Trader Joe’s, CVS, restaurants, coffee shops, breweries/bars, Metropolitan Branch Trail, etc.

C (me): she/her, 31, DC for 1 year, currently working at an environmental conservation non-profit. Enjoys hiking, traveling, gardening, horseback riding, and watching NY sports teams.

W: he/him, 30, DC for 4.5 years, currently working as a social worker/therapist in an outpatient mental health clinic. Enjoys traveling, food, and engaging with different cultures.
