The shared areas includes the kitchen area on the first floor with a small dining area that can be used for breakfast, dining, reading, etc. And a washer/dryer in the basement.

Additional shared areas include the front porch of the house and the backyard. The backyard has a small private pool, green space to bask in the sun, and shaded areas for reading or enjoying a tea or coffee.

The are several bus lines with a couple of blocks to go downtown DC, Silver Spring and access the red line and green line metro stations.

Walmart is a 10 minute walking distance.
