Large room with extra space for storage or to create an at home office perfect to work from home, study or create a quiet reading nook. This is a shared bathroom with one other person (male).

4 roommates total in a 2500 sq. ft, 5 bedroom,3.5 bath townhome.
1 Spare room is furnished for guests and open for use by all roommates for additional hobbies, etc.

Home is located in historic Anacostia neighborhood with ample street parking. Only a 10 minute walk to Anacostia Metro station, multiple bus routes, and easy driving access to MD, VA or downtown DC via I-295 or Suitland parkway. 2 miles from Joint Base Anacostia Boling, Navy Yard and Marine Corps Barracks and 7 miles from Joint Base Andrews.

Easy access to Anacostia National Park with open recreational fields, native meadows and bicycle and running trails.

The home has solar panels, washer, dryer and dishwasher. A walk out basement to a fenced in backyard for outdoor entertaining or to enjoy beautiful native plant gardens (front and back).

Main floor is common space with large kitchen; induction cooktop, spacious island and plenty of cabinet/storage space, formal dining and living room and half bath. Main floor is partially furnished with area rugs, sofa, dining set and basic cooking supplies.

Tenants split utilities (electricity and water). Current electric costs are $23 to maintain Pepco connections, if usage exceeds solar production, the rates will increase accordingly.

Water currently averages $40/person per month.
Security system and trash/recycle removal is included in the cost of rent.
