INTRO:

Quaint, clean garden cottage within 5 min walk to downtown Walnut Creek, 10 min walk to BART station and only 30 min drive to San Francisco/East Bay. Enjoy restaurants, entertainment and shops just a short stroll away.

THE HOUSE:

This cozy, fully furnished garden cottage is ideally located within the heart of downtown Walnut Creek, close to San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland and the rest of the Bay area.

Ideal for female business professionals seeking a peaceful experience.

The home features a large spacious guest bedroom with a queen bed, desk, and ample space for clothes.

There is a fully appointed kitchen with an oven, stove, fridge, freezer, sink and coffee maker.

The center of the cottage is the cozy living room with a beautiful fireplace, comfy, over-stuffed chairs, an ottoman, benches and lots of natural light.

When enjoying a meal, settle in the dining nook which has a large table and two benches.

The backyard space is paved with brick, covered with lawn, and you are invited to enjoy the lush, organic herbal and floral gardens. There is an outdoor bench and fireplace.

When in season, pluck a fresh lemon from the tree for your tea or water.

There are also laundry facilities onsite, which may be utilized for an additional fee.

ROOM DETAILS

Private, furnished, Queen bedroom with lots of natural light and space. The rest of the home, including the bathroom, kitchen and living spaces are shared.

I am seeking one professional female to share with another straight, professional female in her mid-30s, whom is extremely quiet, client, respectful of privacy. No couples, pets, drugs or smoking.

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW

Located in a quiet, safe neighborhood within the center of downtown Walnut Creek, this area offers an abundance of trendy restaurants, lounges, bars, high-end and mid-range shops and boutiques.

Stay here, and be close to it all: San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley and NorCal's two primary international airports (SFO, OAK). Guests can stroll or bike to the Walnut Creek BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station in less than 10 minutes.

Napa Valley is only 30-40 mins. away, and Lake Tahoe is a terrific day or weekend trip.

PARKING/GETTING AROUND

No car needed! - Within 5 min. walk / 2 min. bike to downtown Walnut Creek - Within 10 min. walk / 6 min. bike to Walnut Creek BART station (mass transit) - Within 25 min. drive by car to San Francisco - Street parking with or witout permit in the vecinity, meter parking and paid public parking garages are widely available

High-speed wifi throughout the house.
TV - with Apple TV.
Utilities include: gas, water, wifi, waste removal (weekly on Thursdays)

HOUSE MATE IS EXPECTED TO:

- Clean up after themselves in the bathroom and kitchen
- Exercise caution when utilizing the fireplace
- Adhere to all local city and state laws and ordinances
- Secure the doors at all times
- Respect the host's property, furniture and personal belongings
- Understand that costs associated with damaged, broken or stolen property will be deducted from guests' security deposit
- Understand that excessive dirtiness or smoking inside will result in forfeiture of guests' security deposit
- Be responsible for your own equipment; host's wifi is high-speed and reliable for most guests
- Help conserve water

- No pets (sorry!)
- No parties or loud music
- No cooking FISH inside the house
- No food or beverages (except water) permitted outside of the kitchen and dining nook (it will attract bugs!)
- No additional guests (while your privacy is respected, no undisclosed guests are allowed)
