Looking to rent out the master bedroom with ensuite bath in my 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment with sharable living room and kitchen space in the center of Palms. Laundry on the premises, and plenty of street parking. The large bedroom (12 ft x 13 ft) and apartment has wood flooring throughout. The master bedroom has windows with natural light, mirrored closets, ceiling fan, and massive closet space. Private bathroom includes a vanity and shower. AC unit in apartment.
The apartment is a small 5-unit complex, located on a quiet “no through street”, so there is minimal car traffic. The area is in a vibrant and safe neighborhood, and with easy access to the metro through and from Santa Monica beach and downtown, within a mile of Sony Studios and walkable to trendy Culver City.

A little about me:
I’m a 30 year old female who works in the medical field. I love nature, yoga, hikes, volleyball, dogs, and sometimes a good glass of wine at the end of a long work day. In general, I am a homebody, and I work hard at my job, so I like a quiet space to unwind when I come home. Unfortunately, my long term roommate of 3.5 years is moving in with her partner, so I am looking to rent out her room.
Qualifications for Applicants:
- 30+ years, identifies as female
- Must have stable job and income with ability to pay rent on time at the first of every month. No exceptions.
- No smoking, no drugs. No parties in the apartment.
- No more pets, sorry! My apartment already comes with my 6.5 year old 35lb dog, Wesley, who is not looking for a playmate at this time. Wesley is extremely friendly, loves everyone, is potty trained, and well behaved. He has access to a dog door to the yard and is not a barker.
- Overall, I am looking for a tenant who is clean, on the more quiet/chill side, and loves dogs. I have a cleaning lady who comes every 2 months for deep cleaning of the apartment, which is included in rent cost.
- Very supportive if you have a significant other, however I am renting out to one tenant, not a couple. Occasional sleepovers are fine, but not on the regular.
- Rent: $1525 per month, not including utilities (approximately $110 monthly, which includes gas, water, internet, electricity). Deposit is cost of last month’s rent ($1525) which will be returned to you at end of lease. Must agree to 1 year term. Rent includes cleaning as mentioned above.
