Located on 116th and Lenox, steps from the 2/3 Subway is a two-bedroom apartment with one room available August 1st. The room comes furnished or unfurnished, my roommate is leaving behind her bedframe, almost new mattress, and dresser. I am an artist, writer, and teacher in my 30s and have been living in the neighborhood for ten years. I love being just a few blocks away from Central Park and Morningside Park and the convenience of being walking distance to the B/C/2/3/6 subway lines. The apartment features bright windows, and modern furnishings. It is a friendly and secure building with families, young professionals, and a live-in Super. I am looking for a respectful person who is tidy and appreciates a calm living environment.

Since quarantine my roommate and I have made some adaptions to the apartment for days when we were both working from home. I?m back to working in Chelsea a few days a week but the apartment is arranged for co-work habitation. One of the kitchen tables has a leaf in it and I?ve been known to share my desk so the space is perfect for a student or someone is still working remotely. When it was too cold to go to the park and they closed out gym we bought a miniature stationary bicycle and other compact exercise equipment that fits in the closet. Usually it?s a fun vibrant neighborhood with a lot of cafes, restaurants, bars, shopping and things to do. There is a CVS, Fine Fare grocery, and Blink Fitness on the corner and a Whole Foods nearby at 125th St.

I am limiting the number of visitors I am allowing into the apartment during quarantine and I would like to do a video call apartment tour before we meet in person.
