Earn $100/hour helping run SpareRoom's first speed roommating Houston event
What is speed roommating?
Inspired by speed dating, it's a fun evening in a bar where potential roommates meet people with rooms for rent - to see if it's worth bothering with a first date... er we mean first viewing!
After all, the people you live with are so much more important than the shower pressure or the living room decor.
Why $100 an hour?! Is it highly skilled work?!
We need helpers between 6pm and 9pm (Thursday, April 10th) to run the event. It's easy work - all you need is a friendly, outgoing personality! Your role is to welcome guests, explain how the event works, and make sure everyone is happy. You'll be working the crowd by encouraging mingling, sparking conversations, and keeping the energy lively.
What's the catch? There isn't one! We're offering a great rate because we want to make it worth your while for a 3-hour event! There's a good chance of more events in the future, along with potential opportunities to work in other areas of SpareRoom!
What experience do I need?
Related experience might be helpful but not essential.
We've had helpers in the UK and NYC who have had no prior experience.
