Clean bedroom in an awesome location!

So you're looking for somewhere to live in the one of the toughest renter's markets ever? Maybe my spot is it! This lovely bedroom is located in one of Manhattan's most hip neighborhoods - steps away from nightlife, restaurants, and coffee shops. It's also only a 4 minute walk from the East Broadway train station, putting you within a half hour commute of virtually anywhere in Manhattan.

A little about your future live-in landlord: I practice Buddhism, I'm vegetarian, and I enjoy a simple, quiet lifestyle. I'm very flexible with my tenants and respectful of your space and time. I have only a few requests for our shared spaces: female tenants only, no cooking of meat, fish, or poultry in the shared kitchen and no loud music or male guests outside of your bedroom.

I also ask for an extra $100 of monthly rent during any months where you have an air conditioning unit installed in your bed room to offset the cost of additional electricity. You won't pay this charge through the winter or at all in the summer if you choose not to install an AC in your room.

This room is great for students or young professionals new to the city and in search of a safe place to live while they ease into a more independent life. As an older New Yorker, I've acted as somewhat of a mentor to all the young ladies who've passed through my place, and I'm excited to do the same for you should you wish.
