The loft: a real-deal former hat factory, only two lofts per floor, elevator building full of creative types. Hardwood floors, 10 oversized windows, open kitchen with dishwasher and eat-in bar, washer/dryer in-unit, A/C, off-street parking. 1.5 shared baths (one full bath with shower).

The household: you’d join two easygoing, responsible women in their 50s+, each with her own defined living/sleeping zone. One is a fashion designer splitting time between a home studio and the city; the other works a regular 9–5. Past housemates have stayed 1½ to 3 years. I've had this apt since 2019.

The honest bits: it’s an open loft so loud sound can carry. Best for someone on a fairly normal schedule, not up all night.
