A room, a safe place, a low drama place

This is a small house 8 blocks from Centralia College , a few minutes from the freeway, and 6 blocks from stop marker 24 of the orange bus line of Twin Transit Buses https://twintransit. org/routes/.

No smoking/vaping please. We’ve made attempts with folk smoking elsewhere, but it always creeps back into the house. Occasional drink is fine, but we can’t deal with drunken behavior.

All rooms have wired internet connections as well as the wireless. The main living room has a TV, though I haven’t signed up for TV service. There is a computer available in the main living room.

I’m open to a repaint of the rooms if you’d like. I have a paint sprayer to use and I’ll buy a can of a reasonable color, but I personally won’t have time to do it any time soon. We can remove the furniture if you have your own, but it fits rather well as it is.

We have two refrigerators and pantry shelving so food storage shouldn’t be a problem. One of the rooms has a little less storage space but it has nicer light.

There is off street parking space for 3 cars, though they are in a line so only the outer two are most convenient. I drive every other day so we’ll need to coordinate. There is also free on street parking.

It would be good to visit during a time we can meet with our 3rd roommate to see how personalities fit.

We all sign up once a month calendar to clean the kitchen, toilet, shower, and common floors so it can’t go long enough to get bad.
About the roomies

I’m a 47-year-old Software Developer working remotely from home. I’m fairly quiet and my room is kind of in a separate part of the house and I can keep my music low. I’m good about keeping dishes and that type of biohazard down and can keep most of my clutter out of the common spaces.

I’d look forward to shared meals a night or two to reduce costs and, but that may or may not work out depending preferences.
