Top-floor corner unit at Postmark Apartments in Shoreline, available for a November 2nd, 2026 move-in. The lease runs through February 27th, 2027, and management has confirmed you can then renew for either 6 or 12 months at the same $2,229 — the rent does not go up. So this works equally well as a short stay or a long-term home.

We're leaving because we bought a house and close at the end of October — we've genuinely liked living here and are only moving because of the closing date.

The unit: 2 bed / 2 bath, 1,050 sq ft. Top floor, corner unit, so only one shared wall and no one above you. In-unit washer and dryer. Portable A/C port — a dedicated wall vent so you can run a portable air conditioner without blocking a window. Private patio, which only a few units in the building have. Two full baths make it comfortable for roommates, and the second bedroom works well as a home office.

Rent and terms: $2,229/month for a 2 bed / 2 bath — if you're sharing, that's about $1,115 each. One assigned parking space available at $99/month, with a second available on request subject to availability. Electricity, internet, and utilities are set up by the resident and are not included.

Move-in cost: Management has confirmed no new security deposit is required. Your only upfront cost is Postmark's $49 application fee per applicant — a comparable new lease in this building would run several hundred dollars or more upfront.

Pet friendly: Postmark's standard pet policy, fees, and breed restrictions may apply — their office can walk you through the details.

No income cap: This unit is not part of the MFTE program, so there is no maximum income limit. Anyone who qualifies can apply at $2,229.

Amenities: 24-hour fitness center, genuinely well equipped. Secure package room and mailroom with lockers. Resident lounge. Large clubhouse with a kitchen, pool table, barbecue, and TVs for gaming or movie nights — and the clubhouse can be reserved for free. Building and common areas are cleaned frequently and kept in great shape. Management and maintenance are very responsive; we've been here since February and every request has been handled quickly.

Location: Three minutes by car or five by transit to the Shoreline North/185th St light rail station, with buses every 15 minutes to multiple stations. Safeway directly across the street, and restaurants and other grocery stores within walking distance. Quiet, small-town feel with fast access into Seattle.

How it works: This is a lease takeover handled directly through Postmark management — not a private sublet. You apply with Postmark, they run standard credit and background screening, and if approved you're added to the lease and we're released. You'll need gross income of at least three times the rent, roughly $6,687/month or $80,250/year. If two or more of you apply together, Postmark has confirmed they will count your combined household income. No money changes hands with us at any point. Their office handles the application and can confirm all of the above in writing when you tour.

Happy to show the unit and walk through its condition together so you know exactly what you're taking on. Message me with a bit about your timeline and we'll set something up.
