The House
This is much more than a bedroom-for-rent setup. The house has multiple living areas, lots of natural light, a loft, storage, and a huge fenced yard with a patio. We’re hoping to add garden beds, a hammock, lounge chairs, and make the outdoor space somewhere we actually use.
If you bike, camp, sew, craft, game, work from home, or have another hobby that needs some breathing room, this could be a great fit. Flexibility for visiting family to stay comfortably instead of needing a hotel.

Nearby & Convenient
I-5 onramp and gas: just a few minutes away.
Coffee, groceries, food, parks, and everyday errands: generally within about 7 to 10 minutes.

About Us
One of us enjoys cooking, gardening, and card games, while the other enjoys motorsports, TV, and video games. We like having our own space but are also happy to hear the newest gossip in your life, play games, or host a joint celebration of some kind.
Our pets are very social but respect boundaries. Your bedroom can absolutely stay pet-free. Because we already have animals, we are not looking to add additional pets.

Bathroom
Access to bathroom is centrally located to rest of house and bedrooms. But storage and shower would remain for only your use. The main bedroom has its own full bathroom. Allowing for minimal inconveniences.

Rent & Flexibility
A private bedroom would be around $900/month. **If you work from home or have high utility usage, additional fees would need to be negotiated.**

First and last month’s rent would be expected at move-in. Minimum 6+ months preferred.

Also, an additional private room is available for someone who wants more space. Cost is negotiable.

Part-Time Kids Welcome to Discuss
A roommate with a child who stays part-time or as part of shared custody could potentially work. Our pets are comfortable around children, but we would want respectful, appropriately supervised interactions and reasonable care for the shared home. This household arrangement could affect rent or move-in costs, but we are willing to talk through what would be fair and workable.
