Spacious apartment in a calm six-building complex. The available room is unfurnished and comes with full access to the living room/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and patio. On-site laundry in building basement (app-based payment). One parking spot is available for the apartment and there is lots of guest parking available. I'm open to negotiating and/or rotating who uses the assigned parking spot.

Rent & Utilities
* One-time security deposit of $800, paid to me at move-in.
* $835 per month rent.
* Plus half of utilities:
* Water, trash, and sewer: historically $80–120 total for the household (≈ $40–60 for you).
* Electricity: historically $80–200 total for the household (≈ $40–100 for you).
* Internet (Comcast, optional): $65 total for the household (≈ $32.50 for you).
* Typical monthly total: about $950 - 1,050, depending on usage and season.

About the Home
* I’m a working professional with a background in tech and game development, looking for a considerate, responsible roommate.
* The apartment stays reasonably tidy and peaceful—no indoor smoking, heavy drinking, or parties.
* Shared furniture (couch, dining table, patio seating) is available for use during warmer weather.
* Photos show the apartment when it was empty. It is currently furnished and set up for daily living. Shared spaces will be negotiated and arranged once a roommate is confirmed so they work comfortably for both of us.
* Convenient Kent location with quick access to major roads and nearby shopping.

Pets
* Cats or small pets OK with landlord approval — as long as you handle their care and any related costs.
* I cared for two cats in this apartment until recently - if you have cat allergies we should discuss that upfront.

Ideal Roommate
A reliable, communicative adult who values honesty and mutual respect. Someone who keeps common areas reasonably clean, communicates openly, and follows through on shared responsibilities. Working adults preferred, but anyone financially stable and grounded is welcome to reach out.

Available between 5/1 and 6/1. My current roommate is aiming to be out by 5/1 but there might need to be some wiggle room depending on when they find their new place and can fully clean their room so it's ready for move in. Once I have someone confirmed we can negotiate a hard date depending on your needs and their ability.
