One bedroom on females-only floor. Bathrooms are shared with one other renter -- 2 half baths: tub-shower combo and sink in one, toilet and sink in other.
Room for rent has 2 skylights offering black-out shades for darkness at night, and cooling in summer. Room has a built-in desk. Twin bed, plus trundle underneath. Chest of drawers with hutch. Closet. Many linens to choose from, although not pictured.
It's not really a house share, but a room rental with rights to laundry room, kitchen and breakfast nook. The kitchen is very nice, but if you need to cook a giant gourmet meal every day, you'll find the kitchen storage too limited. Renter should not bring their own dishes or equipment, as there isn't room. Occasional quiet living room use is fine, but there is no TV.
All utilities, including wifi is included. The house is right on a bus route, #31 to U District and beyond, #33 to downtown and beyond. Bike trails are just blocks away. Current renter of other room has been here 5 years because it's a great place to live and reasonably priced.
The owner lives on the main floor and is retired but active. No overnight visitors please.
