We are currently filling two rooms, right now there are 3 people living here: my partner & I (M/F) & one professional (M), with all of us being around 30. We’re all introverts, maybe 1 ambivert, usually doing our own things and keeping busy. No structured house events or forced socializing, if you’re pretty independent, don’t need a lot of socializing at home, and enjoy a quiet enviroment you’d probably be a good fit! We do ask people to do some simple chores (taking out trash, unloading dishwasher, etc.) just 2-3 times a week but can talk about what works best for everyone in terms of timing and rotation.

The house is 3 floors, the large room is the only one on the 1st floor with its own private bathroom The room is pretty spacious with a closet behind the mirror and the personal bathroom. There is heating in the room but no personal A/C unit because it stays pretty cool even in the summer with A/Cs running in all the other rooms (living room & all bedrooms).

The small room is on the 3rd floor and definitely small, but has a pretty large walk-in closet with lots of space. Nothing pictured will be included except for the A/C unit & the curtains on the window (though curtains can be removed as well). Also, the rainbows in the pictures are because the windows have privacy screens on them since there’s a house across so you can still have sunlight and keep your privacy. They can be removed but the window can’t be opened because of the A/C.

The shared kitchen/living/dining is the whole 2nd floor plus a half bathroom (no shower), and the other 2 bedrooms are also on the 3rd floor along with the Washer/Dryer.

Plenty of parking as there's a culdesac behind the house with easy parking. QFC is also right behind the house so you can just walk for groceries and Fred Meyer is just a mile away so a quick drive down the street. Shoreline Costco is only twenty minutes and Greenlake is a little closer but in the other direction. We have several bus stops right next to us, the 28/D-Line is right behind QFC, 40-Line is in front (both less than 5 min walk) and there are stops for the 5-Line not too far (less than 10 min walk). We're around a 10 or 15 min drive from the Northgate Light Rail Station, which goes directly into the airport in under an hour ~$3 (otherwise ~30 min drive to the airport). Carkeek Park is right behind us ~1 min walk with east trails and can walk ~20 min all the way to the water. Otherwise, the park has nice trails that start right by us and is nice for a quick nature escape.

There's a small backyard, gas stoves in the kitchen, and individual fridge/pantry space. Fridges are split by 2 people and we all do our own food separately but the large room has its own ½ size fridge (not pictured but its smaller than a regular fridge and has its own freezer) on the kitchen floor.

Rent for the large room is $1500 a month (discounted to $1300 first month), and the small room is $900/mo (discounted to $800 first month) not including utilities which average to about $130 a month but are paid every 2 months separate from the rent (includes internet/gas/water/sewer/electric).

Since utilities are paid every 2 months you wouldn’t owe them right away on move-in, they’re paid separately from the rent split with everyone. To move in you'll owe 1st month + $600 security deposit for a total of $1,900 (large room) or $1400 (small room). In general we don’t plan to keep the security deposit on move-out unless there is significant damage (more than wear & tear) and so far we’ve never kept anyone’s deposit.

Just reach out telling us a little bit about yourself and some times you’d be free for a video call, after that we can talk about setting up an in-person tour. If it seems like we’re all a good fit together we can talk about the lease length, ideally we'd be looking for someone willing to do a 12 month lease (until July 31st 2027) but we can talk about preferences for lease length, 6-months would be the ideal minimum for this room.
