Bedroom w/ en suite Bath avail in Central District

We have one room available in the 6 bed/5 bath "co-op lite" house where I live! Check it out!

We are located in the Central District of Seattle, right around the corner from Garfield High School.

Lower West room: $1200/mo + utilities (~$120)
The room is 9'x14', with a 6'x4' closet, plus a 7’x3' crawl space.
The room includes a private en suite full bath.

Our home currently includes 4 (6-7 when full) lovely adults and one cuddly cat named Nebula. (The cat will not tolerate any additional cats in the house).

Our current age range is 23-43, we're clean, compassionate, unique people interested in creating a real sense of community, with decades of shared housing experience between us. Current housemates are all white and we would welcome POC housemates. Several of us identify as queer, most of us are non-monogamous. We live our own lives, and when we come together (fairly often, usually informally) we make an effort to be supportive and engaged. We use Slack/Splitwise/GCal to make communicating easier and have otherwise managed to have high satisfaction with low structure (frequent casual communication plus house meetings maybe twice a year).

The home is a duplex with separate kitchens/laundry, but the two spaces are connected, and we ideally hang out all together from time to time. Our main living room (red drapes in the photos) is used for gatherings, yoga, movie nights, engaged sharing of space, and relaxed parallel play. It's big enough to host potlucks, game nights, book swaps, music jams. There is a shared office space upstairs where we currently have one WFH programmer, and room for one or two additional desks/workstations. Our back yard is big enough for 20 folks to hang out and contains a budding garden and a shed/workshop. There is also a trailer pad with hookups (currently occupied).

- Sam -- 23M mental health counseling grad student new to Seattle. Loves cooking, rock climbing, exploring, and meeting new people. Really values honesty and proactive communication in a roommate.
- David -- 43M programmer. Relaxed, funny, crafty. Likes sharing food, perspective.
- Drew -- 41M y/o sign language interpreter. Mellow yet enthusiastic ambivert. Into Buddhism, music, long walks, gently abdurdist humor, improvisational cooking, and contemplating his own mortality toward joyful ends.
