SW Seattle Room Available Apr 1st

We’re looking for new housemate in our owner-occupied 4-bedroom house, because our fourth friend has been called back into the office & needs to move to California for her job by the end of the month.

There are currently 3 people living in the house - one mid-20s woman & two late-20s men. One of us works from home for about half of the week, and the other two have standard 9a-5p / Mon-Fri onsite jobs. We all get along, but don’t really spend time together outside of home due to different interests (cooking & new restaurants, manga & gaming, weightlifting & cars, etc.) We generally keep to ourselves & stay pretty quiet within the house. It’s fine to bring your guests over of course, but we don’t like to host parties or anything like that.

The house is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, with quick access to shopping & groceries, public transportation routes nearby, and downtown Seattle within a 10-minute drive.

The room is available beginning April 1st. Monthly rent is $750 for one small upstairs bedroom - an 11’x7.5’ bedroom and 2’x7.5’ closet - which includes a tall twin-sized mattress, one large desk + standing lamp, some standing wire-rack shelves & a small dresser, and one mini-fridge (if you don’t need these & want to use your own furniture, they can be removed).

The house itself has plenty of cupboard & fridge space in case you like to cook; and though the garage is almost full due to storage of vehicles & supplies, our driveway is extra long & should be able to accommodate any sized car or truck for safe off-street parking.

We currently split the utilities equally among all 4 residents (which is a variable monthly amount, separate from monthly rent); and these include: water, sewer, garbage, natural gas (for the heating system, central AC, and kitchen range), electricity, and internet.

No pictures of the bedroom at the moment, because the girl moving out is currently packing up & it’s quite messy; but she has given permission to go inside & get a feel for the space for people coming to take a look.
