Roommate wanted ASAP for a beautiful Jackson Ward

Hey y’all! I’m looking for a last-minute roommate for a November 1st move-in in a gorgeous, gut-renovated top-floor duplex in Jackson Ward. The apartment has tons of natural light, high ceilings, two full bathrooms (a rare Richmond luxury, apparently), and a little patio space. It’s a really lovely place, and I’m hoping to find someone who’ll enjoy making it a home as much as I do. The timeline is a little urgent, so if you’re interested, you’re more than welcome to come tour the space ASAP!
The apartment & logistics:
• Total rent: $2,200/month
• Smaller room: $1,000/month
• Larger room: $1,100/month
• Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms
• Other perks: Great natural light, high ceilings, and a small patio
• Utilities: We’d split utilities evenly, with me covering the water bill.
• Deposit: One month’s rent for the apartment ($2,200 total, split between us)
• Lease: Through July 31, with the option to renew for a 12-month lease afterward.
The photos include my current furniture and belongings to give you an idea of what the living areas look like furnished. The bedrooms would come unfurnished, but I could provide a bed frame and a mattress for either room if needed.
The larger bedroom is tucked away at the back of the apartment, so it offers a good amount of privacy. I’m currently in that room, but I’m happy to switch to the smaller one if the bigger space makes more sense for you. The smaller room can also come with or without a bed frame and mattress, depending on what you need.
