Ski lodge themed flat in brand new lux property

Hi! I’m a 46 year-old gay dude who is starting a new career in the travel business. I’ll be gone probably half the time soon. When I’m in town, I’m a “lavender dad” with my longtime bestie and her 2 year-old. Since they are both allergic to Asher, my 4 year-old Nebelung cat, I spend lots of time there and sleepovers with them. Basically you’ll have the whole place to yourself probably more than half the month, for half the rent!

That being said, MUST love cats. Asher is VERY doglike and social. Not only does he love all animals and people, he plays fetch and likes to go on walks! Bonus: he does not shed. Extra bonus: my vacuum rules and I use it daily…just in case. I’m a bit of a clean freak. I just ask that you’re reasonably clean and tidy.

The catch is that my apartment is a one-bedroom floorplan, but large enough to work as a roommate sitch since I’ll be gone a lot. The property itself is also amenity-filled with lots of areas to entertain, relax, work, swim, exercise etc. Scott’s Addition is very walkable, and we are steps from Aldi and not far from Whole Foods. I like to cook, but don’t do it much by myself, and would be more inclined to with another person. I’m new to Richmond, so could use a buddy, but that’s definitely not required. I’ve lived alone for over five years, but my last job was impacted by the government shutdown, so I’m looking for someone to help with rent and bills.

Kind of hoping for a short-term sitch with someone in transition, but ya never know. Also, the bedroom is up for grabs, unless you would rather take the couch. It’s insanely comfy, brand new, and the reason I’m open to giving up my bedroom. The queen mattress is brand new as well!
