My roommates and I are looking for someone to take over an unfurnished bedroom on the east-facing side of our rented house in Reston, VA after a previous application fell through.

The house is 4 beds, 2.5 baths, with a full kitchen, laundry, storage room, large yard and a back patio. There are 2 cats in the house, and I have doubts that the landlord would accept more. The rest of the house other than the extra room is furnished.

The room in question is on the east-facing side of the house, with two windows and a reach-in closet. The dimensions of the room are about 9 feet by 11 feet not including the closet. This room will share a full bathroom with one other person.

Total rent is 3500/month; The split for this room is 800. Utilities are split evenly and average about 120 per month per person for internet, water (billed quarterly,) electricity and gas.

You will need to apply through our landlord, who does a background and an income check. The $250 "Security deposit" is just the application fee.
