Looking for a Female Roommate (20s) – Herndon, VA 🏡

I’m looking for a clean, respectful female roommate in her 20s to share my 2-bedroom, 1-bath first-floor apartment in Herndon, VA.

Rent & Costs:
• Approximately $1,150–$1,200/month (rent + utilities)
• $300 one-time roommate add-on fee required by the leasing office

Lease term:
August 1st 2026-June 20th 2027

About the apartment:
• Shared living room, small storage/linen closet, kitchen, patio, in unit laundry, and bathroom
• First-floor unit
• You’ll have your own bedroom
•I’ve already furnished the apartment. You have access to all household things (kitchen appliances, dishes, furniture, tools, etc) as long as it’s kept clean and respected
•Free parking! Reserved parking available for $35 a month

About my dog:
I have a 3.5-year-old dog who is a little “stranger danger” at first, but once she goes on a walk with someone, they become best friends! 🐶 She has free access to the common areas, so you’ll need to be comfortable living with dogs.

If you have a dog, that’s okay too as long as they’re friendly and get along with my own! They must be house trained and don’t destroy property lol. I already paid the $500 one-time pet deposit, so you would only be responsible for the $50/month pet rent. Anything in a tank is ok but unfortunately no other furry friends.

A few things I’m looking for:

A little about me:
My name is Izzy, I’m 22 years old, and I work two jobs. I work overnight five days a week and a second job two days a week during the day, so I keep a pretty busy schedule.

Outside of work, I’m a huge dog lover and spend a lot of my free time outdoors with my pup. I occasionally have overnight guests (usually my brother or my boyfriend), but it’s not often, and I always want to be respectful of the space we share.

One thing that’s really important to me is communication. I believe the best roommates are honest and respectful with each other. If something’s bothering you, just let me know! I don’t do passive aggressive or petty behavior, and I’ll always do my best to be understanding and accommodating. My goal is to create a comfortable, relaxed home where we both enjoy living.
