I’m looking for a roommate to share a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home. I’m hoping to find someone before the end of October for a late October or early November move-in.

I’ve lived here for about four years and am currently locked into a great rental rate, so I’m looking for someone who wants a comfortable, stable place to call home and is interested in signing a 1- or 2-year lease.

The home

• Private bedroom (9ft x 13ft) in a 2-bedroom home

• 1 shared bathroom

• In-unit washer & dryer

• Backyard

• Common areas are already fully furnished

• You would just need to furnish your bedroom

• Free street parking — finding a spot is rarely an issue

• Non-smoking home — no smoking permitted

Monthly Costs

• Rent: $1,200 per person/month

• Internet: $100 per person/month

• Landscaping: $30 per person/month — landscaper comes every other week to maintain/cut the grass

• Gas & electric: split evenly each month

• Water: split evenly quarterly

• Dog fee: additional $50/month if you have a dog

Base monthly cost is $1,330 plus your share of gas/electric and water.

Pets

Dogs are welcome, but unfortunately no cats. I have a very friendly 6-year-old chocolate Lab, so you’ll need to be comfortable living with a dog. If you have a dog of your own, I’m open to another dog in the home as long as they get along well.

A Little About Me

I’m 31 and work as a General Manager in the hospitality industry. I’m friendly, responsible, active, and easygoing. Fitness is a big part of my life, and I regularly train for HYROX, running events, and other fitness goals.

At home, I like having a clean, comfortable, and respectful environment. I’m social and happy to chat, hang out, or grab a meal together, but I also respect personal space and downtime.

Who I’m Looking For

Ideally, I’d like to find someone who is responsible, clean, respectful, financially reliable, and looking for a longer-term home rather than a short-term room rental. I’m specifically looking for a non-smoker. You don’t have to become my best friend, but I’d love to have a friendly and comfortable roommate dynamic.

Timing: I’m actively looking to have someone lined up before the end of October, with a target move-in of late October or early November.
