ISO roommate by February 1st, Route 1 Alexandria townhouse 3-bed 2.5-bath 1,938 sqft

Hi! My name is Darius and I’m looking for one more roommate to take my old room by February 1st.

A bit about the neighborhood/townhouse:

-Located right off of Route 1 in Hybla Valley, close to Ft. Belvoir.

-Very convenient public transport right outside the neighborhood.

-Lots of families and kids in the neighborhood; active crowd and people usually keep to themselves. Never had any issues with neighbors.

-Tons of stores for shopping, a library nearby, etc., all either walking distance or a short drive away.

-Our townhouse is an end unit, so only one neighboring home.

-There are three floors (basement, main floor, room floor) and an attic. The room floor is on the third floor with the master bedroom, smallest bedroom, and the shared full-bathroom. The attic is the third bedroom, and the one I am currently moving into.

-There’s a balcony and concrete backyard in the back, and a driveway with space for one car in the front. No garage: extra space in the basement where the garage would be.

-Basically, there is a lot of shared space to take advantage of. If you have people you’d like to come hang out, this is a great house to host at!

A bit about myself:

-I’m 27 years old and work 4-5 days a week. I’m very active so I’m in and out the house pretty frequently.

-I’m very adaptable and easygoing. Anything short of blatant disrespect or drama I have no problem with. Feeling comfortable and safe within your own home should be the bare minimum!

-I like hanging out/socializing with my roommates in and out of the house, and I like inviting friends over. I’ll never have a problem with others bringing guests. That’s what having all this space is for!

-I LOVE cooking. I do that for work and in my free time, so I do make meals for myself and my roommates when I can :)

-I’m most comfortable in a clean house and am very self-sufficient when it comes to making sure I do my part to keep the house clean. But of course, keeping the house clean between three people is harder to do alone. Cleanliness, collaboration, and consideration of others are very important to me.
