Private bed/bath + office in Fairfax Corner

Hey! I’m Joe. I’m in my 30s, work as an engineer, and I’m looking for someone to share my apartment in Fairfax Corner.

It’s a 2 bed / 2 bath, so you’d have your own bedroom and private bathroom. There’s also a separate den/office that you’re welcome to use. I usually work out of my bedroom when I’m home, so I honestly don’t use the office much and you’d be more than welcome to make use of it.

Rent is $1,400/month and I cover utilities and internet. There’s in-unit laundry and a parking pass is included as well. The bedroom itself is unfurnished, but the common areas are already furnished.

The apartment is right across from the Fairfax Corner transit center, so there’s bus access and connections to Metro. There are also plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and other stuff close by.

As for me, I’m pretty laid back and easygoing. I like having a home that actually feels like home instead of two people awkwardly avoiding each other lol. I’m totally down to hang out, watch something, grab food, or just bullshit after work, but there’s absolutely no expectation that we have to be attached at the hip either. I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing and respect someone else wanting the same.

I’m looking for someone who’s generally clean, respectful of the shared spaces, and easy to communicate with. I’d especially love to find another LGBTQIA+ roommate, but allies are absolutely welcome too. Mostly I just want to find someone I get along with and who feels comfortable living here.

The room is available now. I’d prefer someone looking to stay for a while, but I can be somewhat flexible with move-in timing and length of stay. Couples are welcome too.
