Private Room For Rent in Two Bedroom Apartment

My current roommate is moving and looking for a professional to take their place on October 1st and stay for a maximum of a year. I am currently in a split-level apartment on the second floor in Alexandria, VA.

It’s a 10-minute drive to Old Town and a 10-minute drive to the 95/495/395 split, 15 mins or so from DC, and a 5-minute walk (if that depends on how fast you walk) or a 2-minute drive to the grocery store and restaurants, and a laundry mat a block away.

The rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi (no cable), water, electricity & gas. The bedroom that is being rented out would be the master bedroom. It’s a pretty good size ( can be furnished with a queen bed); we will have to share the bathroom. It’s a two-bedroom duplex apartment located on the second floor (one flight of stairs to the apartment) in Alexandria. The bedrooms and bathroom, washer/dryer are located upstairs, with the living room/dining room, and kitchen on the main floor.

I am a 39-year-old female with a full-time job in Alexandria and a part-time job. I am a very quiet, clean, and respectful person, as I rarely spend time at home. I do like to cook, bake, and do arts and crafts when I have time. I am looking for a Responsible, full-time, neat, clean, and friendly roommate. I am a homebody, don’t go out much, do work 6 days a week. I am a smoker, and I smoke outside the house. I ask that you please clean up and help with everyday chores such as vacuuming and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom as needed. We will take turns. I am a cat foster. There is a cat all the time, and there are also fish.
