I'm a divorced, semi-retired, male truck driver. I'm seeking a person (gender unimportant) to share house / living expenses.

This is a spacious two bedroom home located in the relative small town, with country-like appeal, of Grand Saline, Texas; located approximately 64 miles East of Dallas.

The house itself, is a former B&B; having a total of 3 bathrooms, and a laundry room. It has a very unique floor plan which adds to it's charm. The front yard is relatively small; but it has a rather large backyard, replete with Pecan trees abounding with plenty of nuts.

Although presently quite full, there are a couple of storage buildings in the backyard; allowing for extra storage; if needed.

It is ideal for the retiree, the semi-retiree, and / or those who are simply seeking the solitude; away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It is located within city limits of Grand Saline; however, it has country-like qualities, without all the restrictions associated with big city living. It is somewhat reminiscent of "Mayberry" on the Andy Griffith Show; in that the town is peaceful and serene.

As for me, I'm currently a semi-retired 65 year old male truck driver. I am a recently divorced Christian Male, seeking someone with true Christian values to share time, and space with. I write Christian based plays and books in my spare time.

I currently have three Pomeranian dogs (two of which were inherited from my ex-wife). They are friendly; always seeking attention from anyone who will give them such attention. Other pets are welcome. My pets are compatible with most any other dogs; and / or even cats (once introduced).

Currently, my bedroom is a large, master bedroom; replete with it's own bathroom. However, I'm hoping to go back out on the road sometime in the near future; making such a large room unnecessary. This is to say that the prospective housemate will have their choice between a large and small bedroom.

Which ever room is chosen if / when I go back out on the road, the prospective housemate would have the run of the house for $500 per month, plus half of all the utilities. Currently, the sum total of all utilities average at, or less than $325/ month. Assuming the monthly utility bill held at the present rate, my housemate would be looking at spending a total of $662.50 for the month. I feel confident that you won't be able to find a better deal anywhere within a 150 mile radius of Dallas.
