Room for rent at residential house in South Austin

Looking for a new roommate in a shared house in South Austin! The previous roommate moved out so we have an opening. The house is a two-story 4 bed/2.5 bathroom with 3 of us sharing it (two males and one female). We’re all quiet and easygoing people and not interested in drama or big parties.

You’ll have full access to the living room, kitchen, and other common areas. The kitchen is already well-stocked and the living room is furnished. There are two fridges and a full pantry so you should have plenty of space for food. We also have a garage gym set up that you are welcome to use (with a mini-split AC for cooling and heating). There’s a small space downstairs that you could use as an office if needed (or a reading area, or put in a TV, or whatever). We have a washer/dryer in the house, and there’s a backyard with space for gardening if you’re interested. It’s entirely wood floors and tile so things are easy to clean.

The neighborhood is pretty quiet, with a community pool, pond, and a walking trail. Street parking is available out front. We’re very close to the airport, and it’s easy to get to 183, 71, I35, south Austin, and east Austin.

The rent is $700 + evenly-shared utilities. No smoking, 420, or pets. Requires a background/credit check and a deposit of one month’s rent. The lease dates are pretty flexible (including the start date), but the initial lease will likely be 6-months to make sure things are a good fit with everyone, and then a 12-month lease afterwards.
