Married couple looking for one roommate to join us in our newly purchased home in Pflugerville. You’d have the largest of the three additional bedrooms, located down the hall with its own private full bathroom.

The house:
• Renovated, modern, open floorplan, high ceilings, lots of natural light
• Big kitchen with tons of counter space, great for anyone who likes to cook
• Large backyard, 3-car garage
• Direct freeway access — only ~5 minutes longer to downtown Austin than from inside city limits at peak traffic
• Across from Pflugerville Lake Park (walking, jogging, paddle boarding)
• Neighborhood amenities: pool, community gym, covered picnic areas with gas grills

The terms:
• $800/month rent
• 6+ month lease
• Move-in ideally early June, flexible for the right person
• Utilities split (we can talk specifics)

About us:
We’re a quiet, low-drama couple in our 30s — I’m a photographer, my husband is a software engineer. We both work from home most days and keep to ourselves during the workday. Evenings and weekends we like to cook, watch movies, and work on personal projects. We have two cats (one social, one shy) who’ve lived with dogs before, so a friendly dog is welcome.

Looking for:
A respectful, clean, employed roommate who’s looking for a calm home base. Easygoing communication and basic shared-space tidiness matter more to us than shared hobbies.
