The room

I am listing a spare room in my 1600 sq ft house in the quail creek neighborhood in north Austin. The room is unfurnished, 134 sq. ft including closet.

Laundry, appliances, pantry, and outdoor smoking area are all included in the rental. Absolutely no smoking allowed in the house. The bathroom will be shared with the other current roommate. She does a great job keeping it nice and will expect the same in return.

Rent is $650 plus utilities which range from $90-$175 (depends on season, total number of roommates, and how much AC we're running), they include electric, gas, water, internet (google fiber), and lawn service.

It's located within 2 miles of i35, mopac, 360, 183, HEB (<1mi), Target(<1mi), and plenty of dining options. The location is well serviced by several public transit routes with bus stops at the end of the block. It is also on the night owl route which means 22 hours a day bus service.

About myself: I'm a middle aged outdoorsy guy who gets by with a desk job. I tend to be quiet and caught up in my own hobbies when I'm home.
